Amazon.com Product Description:
The E250 is a 2.5 GHz accessory handset designed for use with AT&T's E2525 and E2555 expandable phone systems. It operates on the 2.4 GHz band and employs frequency-hopping digital spread spectrum technology to provide a clear, accurate signal with less interference. The base systems (required, sold separately) support up to eight handsets, allowing you to place an extension wherever you need one, without an additional phone jack.

With just one phone jack, the system supports
up to eight extensions throughout your home.

Caller ID/call waiting compatible, the E250 has a 50-number caller ID memory, while a 50-number phone directory is provided to help you keep track of important phone numbers. You can access the base answering system from the handset, and an intercom feature lets you communicate with other handsets on the system. With conferencing, you can speak with multiple parties at the same time, while the call transfer function lets you route incoming calls to another handset location.

The redial button gives you access to the last 10 outgoing numbers, and the flash button allows you to access call waiting (with subscription to a fee-based service). An illuminated keypad makes dialing in the dark a snap, and a handset volume control lets you adjust levels to your liking. The E250 is headset compatible and comes backed by a one-year limited warranty.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Its is a very good product BUT
Its is a very good product BUT I beleve it cost too much "for" a add on phone

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Work great, easy setup
Purchased this to expand our set and to replace one where the ear piece speaker stopped working. They set up very easily and work great.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works better than the 5.8 systems
Finally I've found an expandible system for up to 8 that actually works!!
The first 2 systems I tried were the Panasonic and Uniden 5.8 systems and luckily I tried them at my old house first--both were terrible--they had static as soon as you walked outside--even right outside the window where the base station sits!! And form there it was all downhill. My current older AT&T 2.4 set NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM so I tried a 2.4 system--PROBLEM SOLVED

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent phone
I have the base model with 2 expandable phones.Bought this third expandable addition from Amazon recently and have no complaints.Love this phone system and able to plug them in any wall socket in the house without the need for a phone jack.Has all basic features that I need like redial, call waiting, call conference, speaker phone etc.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It's like having your own intercom system!
These phones work great for us!We have 6 addtl phones besides the base. You can plug them anywhere you have an electrical outlet, you only need the main base plugged into the phone outlet, the rest go anywhere... basement, garage, any room you want.My biggest complaint about these phones would be that you would think that a phone that initially "searches for the base unit" upon setup would also read the phone numbers programmed into the base. You have to program each phone individually. That ...
