The No. 4 Simplex Chrome Kettle features a mirror chrome finish over solid copper with a nickel lining and an ebonised beech handle. Plus it whistles on boiling. The specially designed heat retaining base coil which can reduce boiling times up to 25% compared with an ordinary flat bottomed kettle. Suitable for gas appliances only. Simplex tea kettles have been hand crafted in England since 1903. Capacity: 1.8 qt.

The Tea Kettle works very fast and has a very unique whistle.There is a draw back with this kettle.The kettle only can be filled half way as the instruction tell you.So the amount of water you can heat at any given time is extremly limited.

Bad construction.Maybe its handmade but who said handmade is better?Lid hard to open.Feels light and cheap.But price tag is very expensive.Is this because of British pound conversion to US dollars?Don't know but don't recommend buying this!
