The cupcake stand was cute and worked well, but it was not worth what it cost. Perhaps at $10 less.

I returned it.Perhaps the people who designed this thing never actually used it.The bottom tier is fine.The holders on the rest of the tiers are much smaller (in circumference), not adjustable and don't hold standard size cupcakes, even baked in Wilton's own paper cupcake liners.If you smoosh the cupcakes together they'll sort of hold each other in place. Or you could 'glue' each of the upper cupcakes in place with a little icing. Plus, the tiers are too close together, so the icing must ... Read More

I bought this item because it looked like a very festive way to display cupcakes for all occasions.I first used it for my 3-year old granddaughter's birthday celebration.I put multi-colored sprinkles on the cupcakes, placed them on the stand, then topped five of the cupcakes with various little Disney princesses.On the top cupcake, I placed a little picture frame with my granddaughter's picture in it.She was thrilled.The display was absolutely adorable.The only complaint I have is that ... I bought this stand for my toddler's 2nd birthday. It was a nice way to display the cupcakes, but it is pretty cheaply made and not very sturdy. A couple of cupcakes fell to the floor from the stand because they couldn't be seated deeply enough in the stand to be secure. I wouldn't buy this item again and won't keep it - it's too rickety to hold on to for future events and would be a pain in the neck to try and store.
