VERY GOOD, CLEAR , LOUD AND EXCELLENT FOR THOSE WHO ARE A LITTLE HARD OF HEARING.

Got this for my 80+ visually impaired Mom.She wanted a corded phone next to the bed (in case of power outages) and needs a cordless that she can keep near her chair in the living room where there is no phone jack.Her old cordless battery kept running out because she had no charger near the chair.She loves this phone.Though her eyesight is poor enough that she cannot read the display due to macular degeneration, she loves the large buttons and having the phone close by.

I love this phone.Bought it for my elder parents.However it has some shortcomings that all but overshadow the good:

* Very poor range.One room over -- less than 20 feet -- and it is static city.Double that distance and you are out of range completely.
* Clock goes out after every power outage (despite the advertised feature of "keeps phone working even during power outage").
* Call 911 button too big and easy to hit by mistake.

this is a great telephone for my parents.Dad is 80 yrs old and mom is 76 yrs old and it is user friendly and has big number for my dad since he is going blind.

- Cordless Phone with Corded Base
The product came quickly.It was easy hook-up and had a lot of extra features.The only thing that may be wrong with it is that the buttons on the cordless phone weren't quite large enough for my uncle. He is legally blind and had a corded phone with HUGH buttons.Maybe this is as big as a cordless phone buttons go.I don't know I didn't want to pay three hundred dollars!!I needed the cordless with the corded so I didn't have to move the jack.All in all it is a great product.I am very pleased.
