Microprocessor controlled T2 Disconnect/Reconnect circuitry not only protects your AV equipment, but protects your PowerCenter as well. The T2 protection circuitry automatically disconnects the PowerCenter and all of your connected AV equipment when it senses dangerous power conditions, completely isolating them from sags, spikes, and surges. T2 continues to actively monitor power conditions, then automatically reconnects when AC power returns to normal. - Worked fine for over 5 years
Bought this for my home theatre system. I've never used the system without this unit, so I can't comment about any improvement in performance, but after just over 5 years of use, it's recently started making a humming noise. The humming has now increased to a loud buzz that does not go away if I unplug all the components that are connected to it. When it's buzzing, you can actually feel a slight vibration inside the unit. Oh, well. I got 5 years of use out of it.

Im not much into the technical jargen as far as volts and if this happens or if that happens what may happen. that kind of stuff. but what i do know is that without it,i would not feel as relaxed as i do with every electronic component i have in my theater plugged into it. its made very well. has some weight to it. it gives you a voltage reading digitally that i have seen go as low as 120 and as high as 124. it usually stays around 124. im very happy with it. the Sat,blu ray,ps3,sony surround is ... I have been using this surge protector for a couple of weeks. It appears to be working very well with all electrical equipment functioning well. Based on the reputation and cost, I am trusting that all equipment is well protected. I am not using all the capabilities of this equipment.
