The clip protectors are great helps prevent the clips from breaking off. A nice cable for $5.

- It's a CAT5 cable. It does what CAT5 cables do.
There's nothing special about this cable. It has small clip protectors on each end, is of sufficient quality and sheathing, doesn't have the giant boot covers that can get in the way, and . . . it carries data.

There are no flaws and it's fairly cheap. Enough to justify buying a patch cable over making your own, in this case.

It basically does what its supposed to so no complaints there.For price and length wise you might be able to do better with a Belkin brand or something along that line.Basically its just a gray ethernet cable or CAT5 which ever your preference in nerdology.On another note is is the snag free kind with the plastic covering over the clip which is nicer on this model than the Belkin which is kind of hard to push down and eventually I broke the clip off.The reason I have to keep switching back ...
